Without a doubt, this is the best training option we offer.  The results you are looking for are achieved quickly and are both very solid and extremely reliable.  Training progresses rapidly and reliably because while the dog is living with us and our dogs, he is being worked each day by us - professionals with well over 20 years experience in teaching and dealing with dogs.   And it's not all work either- there is also plenty of time for fun!  While you're dog is here, he'll have lots of time to become a part of our pack while learning good doggie manners.

When we first meet with you, we will be able to determine a training program tailored to keep your dog a healthy and happy member of your family.  Training is then begun using a gentle targeted approach resulting in a happy, great working and mannerly dog.  The methods we employ are gentle and the training, done on our premises, is easily transferred to your home.  After many years of experience, we're confident enough in our results that we will Back Them Up in Writing. When our clients first see what we are able to do with their own dog using our I-Leash Technique,™ they are really amazed.  Working in a calm and quiet manner; using no harsh or heavy handed methods, we routinely take unruly, boisterous dogs and turn them into calm and mannerly companions in a very short time. At the end of two to three weeks of living and training here at Tsuro, your dog will have learned some very useful household manners and they will be reliably trained to:

Walk beside you on a completely loose leash - or if you wish, on no leash at all!   Come when you call -  EVERY time you call.   Sit or Down on command and Stay in that position for as long as you want.   Calm or Settle down on command - thus eliminating wild and uncontrollable behaviour.

Pay attention to you when you speak to her/him.    Behave properly and mannerly at the door - No charging through doors.   Curb destructive behaviour.   Be quiet when asked - No annoying barking, whining etc.   Learning to stay off furniture you prefer they avoid   Polite greetings - No jumping on people.

Getting started is a simple and begins with you giving us a call.  The call is free and during the initial contact we will discuss your dog's behaviour and unique needs.  From this call you should be able to determine if this program is for your dog. If this is the program for your dog, the next step is to book the time to come meet us and watch a demonstration as we work with your dog.   Right before your eyes we will begin to work with and change some of your dog's unruly behaviour.  A common comment we hear is, "If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would never have believed it!"  This is usually all it takes to convince the owner that this is the right program for them.  At this point, we will book a two to three week time slot for your dog to stay with us at our home facility.  You can be assured that, in addition to the training, your dog will receive plenty of individual attention during the time they spend with us. Once the training is complete, you will be reunited with your happy, well behaved pet!   After a short, exciting reunion where you both get reacquainted, we will do a training session with you to transfer the training to you.  You will be shown what your dog has learned and how to  get him to respond to you as he has been taught.  This session takes between sixty and ninety minutes.  Remember, we back this training for as long as you own your dog.  All you need do is call - we're here to help you at no further charge. This gives the owner more options of things they and a well-behaved dog can do together."             -Roger Hild Cost: The cost for our boarding school program is $1,900.00 (two week)  or for three weeks it is $2,495.00. This price is complete and includes: boarding,  training, remote training collar plus any other equipment and all applicable taxes.  The price also includes any follow-up or fine tuning that may be necessary for the life of the dog!  For this investment, we will return to you a happy, well behaved pet ready to enjoy the rest of their life as your family companion.  You'll be able to enjoy each others company more as you go places together and you can expect good manners on leash or off.  We use only our amazing I-Leash (tm) technique in the training; it's gentle, it's fast and it works.  Available Dates:  We're now booking dogs for June 2012 and beyond.  Please call us at 905-797-2855.   Please note: Space is very limited for this particular program.   However, we can see your dog much sooner for an in-person evaluation and consult.  Here we will assess your dog for the best training options based upon all the individual circumstances of your dog and his place within the family.  In this session we will also be able to offer a demonstration of our method and assess for the board and train option or any suitable alternative.  You can reserve your advance booking today.

How we Back our Training: Our training works and it lasts. We stand behind the specific training and exercises that were originally established and agreed on together at the time of our initial meeting.  It is a, "we'll make it right" form of guarantee.  We cannot cover any behaviours that were not previously agreed on or anything for which the dog was never trained. Because our training is very effective and it lasts, it is rare that clients ever need additional help - but it's nice to know we're there.  When we return your well-behaved dog to you, we'll show you how to maintain your dog's training.  Sustaining the gains should not require much extra time from you.  We'll show you what to do in your daily life with your dog and it's highly unlikely you'll ever experience loss of training.  If you do experience any training related problems, call us at no charge.  Telephone calls are free for the life of your dog.  Such calls are rare but if you have any concerns or difficulties we want to hear about it.  When issues do arise, they can usually be resolved easily on the phone.
