Private Program Plans & Prices List (new pricing July/10)

Consultations and Lessons are based on $70.00 per hour plus HST.  (Unfortunately, as of July 2010 all prices went up significantly due to the McGinty Liberals tax policy.  We do not charge tax, we merely collect it as the law demands.)

Private Puppy Starter Session: 

Do you have a puppy between 10 and 16 weeks of age?  Want to get them off to a good start possible? This package includes 1.5 hours with a professional trainer, a puppy training video and book, additional training support plus a discount on the price of our Dog Training Package**. 

$90.00 plus HST ($11.70) = $101.70

(prior to July 2010 the price was $90.00 plus GST ($4.50) = $94.50)

Private Dog Training Package

Your dog will be well on his way to becoming the great companion you want.  You will learn how to teach your dog the following:

1.  On-leash heeling

2.  Automatic Sit

3.  Sit and Sit-stay

4.  Down and Down-stay

5.  Stand and Stand-stay

6.  Recall (Come when called)                                                             

Problems solved include:

* Jumping up                                          * Mouthing

* Pulling on lead                                      * No chewing

* Off the furniture (if desired)                  * No Barking

Price ................................. $370.00 plus HST ($48.10) = $418.10

**If you already took the "Private Puppy Starter Session" with us, you qualify for a special offer on our Dog Training Package provided you enroll within six months of the puppy session.

 

The combined cost of the puppy session and the dog training session total $349.00.  In essence, you get the puppy package for free.  Here's how we do it:

 

From the "Private Dog Training Package"  

- Video & Workbook, 4 Lessons ....... $242.74 + $31.56 HST = $274.30

Puppy Starter package ................. $90.00 + $11.70 HST   = $101.70

This special offer is subject to the time limits mentioned above.

 

Designed for people coming from great distances, this option cuts down on traveling time and expenses by allows for half day sessions. We can accomplish many training goals in either one or two half-day sessions. Cost $250.00 - tax included

1. Off-leash Heeling                                            5. Sit &/or stand for exam

2. Off-leash Sit-stay at 40' +                                 6. Distance commands

3. Off-leash Down-stay at 40' +                             7. "Figure 8"

4. Off-leash recall (Come from 40' when called)

Plus any problems (except aggression*) that are identified by the owner will be dealt with.

*Aggression is a problem that is dealt with separately and may require more time, effort and commitment than can be fully covered in the above training packages. Aggression problems can often mean more sessions are necessary.

**The group class  "Intermediate Program" is offered on a limited basis to those who would like to participate in a class and who are truly ready for the demands of such a class.  The actual requirements and costs of this class are included in the note at the bottom of this page.

Mileage Charges

Because of the time it takes and the high cost of transportation, we regret that it is necessary to add a mileage charge to any training programs that are at the client's location.  The mileage charge is $60.00 per hour and is calculated based on the time it takes for a round trip, times the number of trips.  Clients always have the option of traveling here and avoiding these extra costs.

 I-Leash Trainer's Workshop

E-collar basics: Learning to use the remote training collar. 

E-collar training is currently being taught on a 1:1 basis to insure you have a full understanding of the tool and how it may be used.
